يا راحلين عن الحياة

يا راحلين عن الحياة وساكنين بأضلعي هل تسمعون؟

توجعي وتوجع الدنيا معي

I bid you farewell with tears of the eyes
I bid you farewell, while you are for me my eyes
I bid farewell to you, while a flame is in my heart
My sorrow increases due to the longing
I see you departing and not returning
I nearly cry out, "Brothers, take me!"
For I can't stand a life in which my eyes do not see you
Oh my brothers for Allah's sake, you were
during times of calamity my best reliever
You were on the path of strength a rose
whose scent spreads fragrantly from my twigs
If we do not meet [again] in [this] world,
and the cup of death separates us,
than our meeting is tomorrow in the land of eternity
there, the loving ones live together

O you ones travelling from this life!
