And where are those who seek martyrdom sincerely? And where are those who seek martyrdom sincerely?

Seeking to die in honour; In the path of Allah zealously fights his entire life, and with dignity in the battle.

Like Zayd, Musa'b, just like Hamza, and Al-Muthanna

And like Ja'far, and Al-Bara', And Al-Ghafari and Ibn Rawahah

And where are those who seek martyrdom sincerely?

Seeking to die in honour; In the path of Allah zealously fights his entire life, and with dignity in the battle.

Like Zayd, Musa'b, just like Hamza, and Al-Muthanna

And like Ja'far, and Al-Bara', And Al-Ghafari and Ibn Rawahah

You the protector of self-honour, the day that the drums of war grew nearer how can we not hear his cry

Can we not hear his cry? Can we not hear his cry?

The tears of the elderly and the scream of a child eating his own hunger; eating his own hunger.

You the protector of self-honour, the day that the drums of war grew nearer how can we not hear his cry; Can we not hear his cry

Oh Arabs, oh Muslims people suffer and we do not realise. How do we accept the oppression of the Muslim and the ignominy

And where are those who seek martyrdom sincerely?
And where are those who seek martyrdom sincerely?

Why do we not strike an enemy which is among us and from us Where is the Muslim who has lifted his soul above relaxation; soul above relaxation

What a time that has passed the day that we were raised and shrouded in the battle

the day that 'Umayr threw away his sustenance for Jihad and took up his weapons; took up his weapons

This time has passed... The day that wealth increased, how were we put to trial?

The day that Tariq (bin Ziyad) burned the boats and did not think to swim.

The day that the commander of the Battle of Hittin went forth and did not tire nor slack

The day we seek martyrdom and the enemy is macing with his spear; with his spear

The day that we were on heart, one banner, the day that we were. The day that the dog of the Romans abandoned rationality and instead chose to bark; chose to bark

We are quiet because of the hardness of the rocks of the wall, otherwise because of our cowardliness - Oh Arabs, O Arabs, how can there be not one from among us to hold us together?

And where are those who seek martyrdom sincerely?

Seeking to die in honour

In the path of Allah zealously fights his entire life, and with dignity in the battle

Like Zayd, Musa'b, just like Hamza, and Al-Muthanna

And like Ja'far, and Al-Bara', And Al-Ghafari and Ibn Rawahah

Alamun Alamma

Title: alamun alamma
Munshid: Samir Al-Bashiri
Year: (?) 2003
Composition: Hamid b. Abdulmajid Al-Kabuli
Date: 29/2/1423 (2002)

Lyrics and Translation

Ad'hal Islamu

Titke: aḍ'ḥal islāmu lanā dīnā

Lyrics

Islam has firmly become the religion for us
and the whole earth is for us homeland
Worshipping Allah alone is for us a light
We prepared the soul as a dwelling for it (Monotheism)

The universe will inevitably vanish
But our dignity will not fade away with time
Our mosques have been built across the land
And the first mosque is our Kaaba

It is the first house, we maintain it with the life of our soul
and it in return protects us
The flag of Islam through out the days has been the mark of glory for our nation

Say to the sky of the universe we reached the stars by our ambition
And the Adhan of Muslims it had...
in the West an effect from our magnanimity

Oh land of light, (one) from the two Sacred Mosques and the birth place of our Sharia
The Garden of Islam and its great tree in a land that was saturated with our blood

And Muhammad was the leader of the train
leading the way for us to win
It is the name of Muhammad the Guider
the spirit of hopes for our awakening
