قل لباغٍ نال منه .. مُشرعاً فينا مُداه
qul li-baghin nala minhu .. mushri'an fina mudahu
Say to the aggressor who insulted him (the Prophet), and proceeded skipping his limits

هل يضر الشمس شيئاً .. أقزم تبّت يداه
hal yadurru al-shams shay'an .. aqzamun tabbat yadahu
Does it harm the sun at all, the insults of a little dwarf

أقزم تبّت يداه
aqzam tabbat yadahu
by the insults of a little dwarf

حاربوه يا عداه .. كلنا اليوم فداه
haribuhu ya 'idahu .. kulluna al-yawma fidahu
"Fight him", O his enemies, all of us today are sacrificing for him

واسمعوا نبض قلوب .. يبلغ الكون صداه
wasma'u nabda qulubin .. yablugh al-kawn sadahu
And hear the beats of hearts, which, resonance reaches to the whole universe

ويح قوم خاصموه .. كيف غابوا عن هداه
wayha qawmin khasamuhu .. kayf ghabuu 'an hudahu
Woe to the people who are at odds with him, how they missed his guidance!

كيف نالوا من عزيز .. شاد مجداً وشداه
kayf naluu min eaziz .. shad mjdaan washaddah
How they insulted [the dearest], [he] who built the shiniest glories

أي روح وفؤاد .. ضمها منه رداه
'aya ruh wafuad .. damaha minh radaah
Which spirit and heart could be pleased with this enemy in insulting [him] ?

من ثرى مكة فـ .. ـاض النور يجتاز مداه
min tharaa makat f .. ad alnuwr yajtaz madah
From the land of Mecca, the light has overflowed and crossed its range

فاسألوا التاريخ يُنبِ .. كيف أبصرت نداه
fas'aluu alttarikh yunb .. kayf 'absarat nadah
So ask the history, it will rebuke how you saw [his] call !

بلغ البذل جميعاً .. وانتهى ثم إبتداه
balagh albadhl jmyeaan .. waintahaa thuma 'iibtadah
All the people tried hard, and failed, then [he] helped them to success

وانتهى ثم إبتداه

كانت الناس حيارى .. فاستبانوا بهداه
kanat alnaas hayaraa .. faistabanuu bihidah
All the people were confused, then they stabilized by his guidance

كانت الأفكار أسرى .. حرَّرتهن يداه
kanat al'afkar 'asraa .. hrarthn yadah
All the ideas were imprisoned, and got liberated by [his] hands

كل قلب كان قبراً .. ثم أحياه نداه
kulu qalb kan qbraan .. thuma 'ahyah nadaah
Each heart was a grave, and got revived by [his] call

قافلات النور سارت .. رحمة خلف حُداه
qafilat alnuwr sarat .. rahmatan khalf hudah
The convoys of light walked as a mercy behind [his] footsteps

الله أعلى وأكبر
الله أقوى وأقدر

Allah is greater and the more exalted
Allah is stronger and more powerful

ممن عدا وتكبر
ممن بغى وتجبر

From those who do unjust and become haughty
From those who transgress and tyrannise

وبات بالله يكفر
وراح بالكفر يجهر

And come to disbelieve in Allah
Proclaiming and boasting with his disbelief

مستخدما كل منكر
وحاشدا كل عسكر

Using every evil
and mobilising every solider

فالله يملي وينذر
املاء غير مقصر

Allah decrees and warns
A decree that does not come short

وسوف يعلي ويظهر
جنوده غير مؤثر

And he will exalt and make prevail
his armies without an effort

عليهم أي منكر
من كل قوم ومعشر

Upon them may be every evil
From every nation and crowd

وسوف يحمي وينصر
وسوف يعطي ويظفر

But he is going to guard and assist
He is going to provide for and make victorious...

أتباع أكرم منذر
وخير داع مبشر

The followers of the most noble warner
And the most noble preacher and harbinger of glad tidings

كم قلة ليس تذكر
ربي رعاها وكثّر

How many a minority that is not worth a mention
My Lord has guarded and multiplied

في ظل كل مظفر
قامت تنادي وتجهر

In the shade of every victory conferred
He stood calling and proclaiming

بدينها وتذكر
بربها وتؤزر

his religion, and glorifying
his Lord and embracing

نبيها حيث يأمر
بالمال والنفس تنصر

His prophet whatever he orders
With his wealth and sole, he is victorious

وفي المَكاريه تصبر
حتى أتاها المبشر

At afflictions he shows patience
Until the glad tiding reaches him

فقال يا عبد أبشر
ويا مبلغ كبر

He said, 'oh my servant rejoice!'
'And shout Takbir every notifier!'

ونادي في كل معشر
رأس البغاة تكسر

And call at every gathering;
'The head of transgression has been smashed'

والفتح كالسيل يهدر
وفي الممالك يعبر

Conquest is pealing like a flood
In the kingdoms it is mentioned

والدين في الأرض يزهر
أنعم بنصر مؤزر

The religion blossoms on earth
Rejoice with a decisive victory

للمسلمين تخدر
قضاه ربي وقدر

A guarding cover for the Muslims
My Lord decrees it and destines

شام الكرامة والإباء يا مسلمون تَوَثّبا

Levant of honour and defiance
Oh Muslims rise up!

خاض الوَغى في عزة بسلاحه متأهبّا

He plunged into the field of war with might
girded with his weapon ready to fight

قد هبّ يثأر للهدى ويردّ عادِية العِدا

He has risen up avenging for Guidance
repelling the aggression of the enemy

فآستبشري يا أمتي فجر الشريعة قد بدا

Glad tidings oh my nation
the dawn of Sharia has appeared

هذي الكتائب للعلا سارت تزمجرفي الملا

These battalions have marched to the heights
roaring to the elites

بشارُ أبشِر إنني قسما أراك مُجندَلا

Be notified oh Bashar
Verily I see you defeated

بالشام آساد الشرى هجروا اللذائذ والكرى

In the Levant there are lions of warfare
They have departed the pleasures and slumber

أنِفوا حياةَ الذُل وانتَفضوا كخالدَ والبَرا

They spurned the life of humiliation
and rose up like Khalid and Al-Bara

الله اكبر زَلزِلي عرشَ المَجوس وجَلجِلي

Allah is the Greatest! Tremble
the throne of the Zoroastrians and shake

هبّت رياحُ النصر يا ليل الهوان ستَنجَلي

Winds of victory have blown
Oh night of disgrace you will wane away

قادم... يجر الهتوف
وتلمع في ثناياه البواتر
قادم... وهُتاف المجد يَحدوه
لِيتفَيَّأ وَريفَ ظِلال المَخاطِر

"It is coming"... the calls keep exclaiming
And swords shine in their bosoms
It is coming... and the clamour of glory sings after it
So that it may alter the long shadows of dangers

قادِمٌ جَيشي إلَيكم *** يقذف الرُّعبَ عَلَيكُم
نحن يا جند الاعادي *** قَدَرُ الجَبّارُ فيكُم
ان دَعى الداعِ اتينا *** المَنايا في يَدَينا
نَردَع الكفر بِبأسٍ *** ان طَغى يَوماً عَلينا

My army is coming to you * lancing fear upon you
We are...oh army of enemies! * the destiny of the Almighty for you
We come when the caller calls * the (dignified) deaths are in our hands
We repel disbelief with boldness * when it one day tyrannises over us

*نقتدي بأبي دجانة  *** من تورثنا سنانه
وتَبخَتَرنا اختِيالا *** وَتَعَلَّمنا طِعانَه

We take Abu Dujanah as an example * of whom we have inherited his sword
And we have strutted in pride * and learned his strokes

زاحفونَ لِلمَعالي *** صامِدون كَالجِبال
في سَبيل الله سِرنا *** بِالأعادي لا نُبالي

Marching towards the heights * Staying firm like the mountains
We have walked in the way of Allah * we do not incline before the enemies

زمجري يا مدفعية *** وازأري يا بندقية
يا رياح النصر هبي *** وامحقي الأعداء هيا

Snarl oh artillery! * Roar oh infantry!
Oh winds of victory, blow! * And exterminate the enemies, come on!

زَلزِلي الله أكبر *** عَرشَ كِسري عَرش قَيصَر
وَادحَري كُلَّ كَفورٍ *** قَد تَعَدَّ قَد تَجَبَّر

Tremble... Allah is the Greatest!... * the throne of Chosroew¹, the thrown of the emperor!
And drive away every blatant disbeliever * who has infringed [upon us] and tyrannised

¹ Choesrew II., the Persian emperor contemporary to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He had intended to captivate the prophet, yet was killed one day after by his son. Those tasked with the imprisonment of Allah's messenger embraced Islam. The title "Kisra" which is derived from his name is metaphorically employed in Arabic for a tyrannical ruler; alluding that his end will always be like that of Chosroew II.

أضحىٰ الإسلامُ لَنا ديناً
وجَميعُ الكَونِ لَنا وَطَنا
تَوحيدُ اللهِ لَنا نورٌ
أعدَدنا الروحَ لَهُ سَكَنا

الكَونُ يَزولُ وَلا تُمحىٰ
في الدَّهرِ صَحائِفِ سُؤدُدِنا
بُنِيَت في الأرضِ مَساجِدُنا
والبَيتُ الأوَّلِ كَعبَتُنا

هُوَ أوَّلُ بَيتٍ نَحفَظُهُ بِحَياةِ الروحِ وَيحفَظُنا
عَلَمُ الإسلامِ عَلى الأيّامِ شِعار المَجدِ لِمِلَّتِنا

قولوا لِسَماءِ الكَونِ لَقَد طاوَلنا النَّجمِ بِرِفعَتِنا
وأذانُ المُسلِمِ كانَ لَهُ بِالغَربِ صَداً مِن هِمَّتِنا

يا أرضَ النورِ مِن الحَرمينِ و يا ميلادَ شَريعَتِنا
رَوضُ الإسلامِ ودَوحَتُهُ في أرضٍ رَوّاها دَمُنا

مُحَمَّدُ كان أميرَ الرَّكبْ يَقودُ الفَوزَ لِنَصُرَتِنا
إنَّ اسمَ مُحمدٍ الهادي روحُ ألآمالِ لِنَهضَتِنا

Translation

Islam has firmly become the religion for us
and the whole earth is for us homeland
Worshipping Allah alone is for us a light
We prepared the soul as a dwelling for it (Monotheism)

The universe will inevitably vanish
But our dignity will not fade away with time
Our mosques have been built across the land
And the first mosque is our Kaaba

It is the first house, we maintain it with the life of our soul
and it in return protects us
The flag of Islam through out the days has been the mark of glory for our nation

Say to the sky of the universe we reached the stars by our ambition
And the Adhan of Muslims it had...
in the West an effect from our magnanimity

Oh land of light, (one) from the two Sacred Mosques and the birth place of our Sharia
The Garden of Islam and its great tree in a land that was saturated with our blood

And Muhammad was the leader of the train
leading the way for us to win
It is the name of Muhammad the Guider
the spirit of hopes for our awakening

مع كل مذبحةٍ تجدّ ولا جواب سوى العويل ... مع كل جرحٍ في جوانح أمتي أبداً يَسيل
With every massacre it gets more serious, and there is no answer except wail
With every injury in the flanks of my ummah it streams forever.

مع كل تشريد لشعب صار جَلداً للطبول ... يأتي يسائلني صديق من بلادي ما السبيل ؟!
With every displacement of a nation which became leather to drums
A friend from my country comes asking me: "What is the road?"

كيف السبيل إلى كرامتنا إلى المجد الأثيل ... كيف السبيل إلى الخليل إلى المثلث إلى الجليل
How is the road to our dignity, to the genuine glory?
How is the road to Al-Khalil (Hebron), to the Triangle and to Galilee?

كيف السبيل لحرق غرقدهم و إنبات النخيل ... كيف السبيل لطعنة الخنزير والقرد الدخيل
How is the road to burning their Gharqad and planting date palms?
How is the road to stabbing the swine and the interior monkey?

لا تنصحني بالصمود الزائف الهش العميل ... تبقى شعارات الصمود سليمة وأنا قتيل
Don't advise me forged, soft, collaborating resistance.
[In the end] the slogans of resistance stay sound, and I am the dead one.

تبقى شعارات الصمود تخوننا أين العقول ! ... لا تنصحني بالركون لكل مهزوم هزيل
The slogans of resistance keep betraying us, where are the minds?
Don't advise me confidence to every defeated poor one.

شربوا دمائي من عروقي نخب سلمهم الذليل ... رسموا طريق القدس من صنعاء حتى الدردنيل
They drunk my blood from my veins as to their despised peace.
They painted the path to Al-Aqsa from Sanaa to Al-Dardanil.

مرمى الحصى عنكم أريحا لا تدور الف ميل ... فلمست قلب محدثي وهتفت من قلب عليل
The place to throw pebbles at, Ariha (Jericho) is not thousand miles away.
I sought the heart of my spokesman, calling out from a gentle heart.

قلب ملئ بالأسى وحديث مأساتي يطول ... اسمعته آيات قراني بترتيل جميل
A heart, full with sorrow, and the stories of my tragedies drag on.
I made him hear the verses of my Quran with a beautiful recitation.

حدثته عن قصة التحرير جيلاً بعد جيل ... ووقفت في حطين اقطف زهرة الأمل النبيل
I talked to him about the story of liberation, generation after generation.
And I stopped at Hittin, plucking the flower of the noble ambition.

ورأيت في جالوت ماء النيل يبتلع المغول ... بكتائب الإيمان جنب المصحف الهادي الدليل
And I saw in (Ayn) Jalut the water of Nil swallowing the Mongols.
With the battalions of faith, along the Quran, serving as a guidance and evidence

تمضي كتائبنا مع الفجر المجلل بالصهيل ... نمضي ولا نرضى صلاة العصر إلا في الخليل
Our battalions proceed in the dawn by horse
We proceed and we will not consent to pray 'Asr except in Al Khalil.

هذا السبيـــــــــــــــــــــل ولا سبيـــــــــــــــــــل سواه إن تبغي الوصول
This is the road. And there is no rode besides it if you seek arrival.

هذا السبيل وإن بدا من صاحب النظر الكليل
This is the road, even if it occurred from a person of dull vision.

درباً طويلاً شائكاً أو شبه درب مستحيل
A long, thorny path, almost an impossible path.

لا درب يوصل غيره مع أنه درب طويل
No path will lead to the aim except it, despite being a long path.
