متفائلٌ و اليأسُ بالمرصادِ *** متفائل بالسبق دون جيادِ
mtfayl w alyas balmrsad *** mutafayil bialsabq dun jyad
Optimistic and the pessimism is a lookout *** Optimistic by precedence without horses

متفائل رغم القنوط ِ يذيقنا *** جمر السياط و زجرة الجلاد
mutafayil raghm alqunut yudhiiquna *** jamr alsuyat w zajrat aljallad (x2)
Optimistic in spite of despair holding us back *** Embers whips and the executioner’s grow

متفائل بالغيثِ يسقي روضنا *** و سمائنا شمسٌ و صحو بادي
mutafayil balghyth yusqi rwdina *** w samayina shms w sahu badi
Optimistic with the rain watering our lands *** And our sky is a sun and a beginning wake

متفائل بالزرع يخرج شطئه *** رغم الجراد كـمنجل ِ الحصادِ
mutafayil bialzare yakhruj shtyh *** raghm aljarad kminajil alhisad (x2)
Optimistic of planting letting it's fruits *** Despite locusts like a harvesting scythe

متفائل يا قوم رغم دموعكم *** ان السما تبكي فيحيا الوادي
mutafayil ya qawm raghm dumueikum *** 'ana alsamma tubki fihia alwadi
People, I am Optimistic, despite your tears *** The sky is crying so that the valley may live

و البحر يبقى خيره أتضره *** يا قومنا سنارة الصيادِ
w albahr yabqaa khayruh 'atadiruh *** ya qawmana sinarat alsyad (x2)
And the sea holding its best, will it be hurt *** O our people, by the hook of the fisherman

فدعوا اليهود بمكرهم و ذيولهم *** نملٌ يدب بغابة الاسادِ
fadaeuu alyhwd bimakrihim w dhuyulihim *** nml yudabu bighabat alasad
Let the Jews with their cunning and tails *** Ants swirling in the forest of lions

متفائلٌ بشرى النبي قريبة *** فغدًا سنسمع منطقا لجمادِ
mtfayl bisharaa alnabii qaribat *** fghdana sanasmae mintaqaan ljmad (x2)
Optimistic, the Prophet’s tidings are near *** Tomorrow we will hear a voice of inanimate

حجر و أشجار هناك بقدسنا *** قسما ستدعوا مسلما لجلاد
hajar w 'ashjar hunak biqadasina *** qismaan satadeuu muslimanaan lijallad
Stones and trees there in our Jerusalem *** an oath, will invite a Moslem to the executioner

يا مسلماً لله يا عبداً له *** خلفي يهوديا ابو الاحقادِ
ya mslmaan lilah ya ebdaan lah *** khalafi yahudiaan 'abu alahqad (x2)
O Moslem for Allaah, O slave to him *** Behind me a Jew, father of hatred

فاقتله طهر تربنا من رجسه *** لا تبقي دياراً من الالحاد
faqtilh tahr tarabuna min rijsih *** la tubqi dyaraan min alalhadi
Eliminate him, cleanse our soil of his abomination *** Do not keep homes of atheism

قسما بمن أسرى بخير عباده *** و قضى بدائرة الفناء لعادِ
qismaan biman 'asraa bikhayr eibadih *** w qadaa bdayrt alfana' lead (x2)
A swear of those who transferred his best people *** And spent the circle of doom for Aad

لتدور دائرة الزمان عليهم *** و يكون حقاً ما حكاه الهادي
ltadur dayirat alzamman ealayhim *** w yakun hqaan ma hukkah alhadi
That the cycle of time will turn against them *** And what was told by the guide will come true

هذا يقيني و هو لي بل الصدى *** و الكأس غامرةٌ لغلةِ صادي
hadha yuqini w hu li bal alsadaa *** w alkas ghamrt lghlt sadiin (x2)
This is my truth, and for me it’s ending the thirst *** The cup is full for the grudge of the thirsty

فاجعل يقينك بالاله حقيقة *** وا صنع بكفك صارماً لسدادِ
fajeal yuqiinak bialalh hqyqt *** wa sune bikfak sarmaan lsdad
Make your trust in God true *** And make your palm firm to repay

متفائلٌ بشرى النبي قريبة *** فغدًا سنسمع منطقا لجمادِ
